Tris Island Pirate Ship

The gazebo has 16 monumental geometric elements and represents the wind rose; more than 800 square meters of construction and 36 meters in diameter.

New coastal boardwalk

The new coastal boardwalk of Playa Norte "Nelson Barrera Romellón". It is 774 linear meters long, has a bicycle path and a roundabout with the sculpture of the famous Carmelite baseball player "El Admiral".

Old Coastal Malecon and Stella Maris

It is the Malecón of this important city in the Mexican southeast that is located on an island surrounded by the Laguna de Términos and the Gulf of Mexico.

Nelson Barrera Monument

He was born in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. He participated in Liga Mexicana de Béisbol, Liga Mexicana del Pacífico and played for a class AAA team, branch of the Chicago White Sox. He holds the all-time record for the most home runs in the Mexican Baseball League and is part of the Mexican Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. He was known as El Almirante. In his honor were renamed the stadiums of the team of Campeche (Before Venustiano Carranza) Nelson Barrera Romellón Stadium and Ciudad del Carmen (Before Concordia) Municipal Stadium Nelson Barrera Romellón.On July 14, 2002, in his home located in Campeche, he died electrocuted while trying to repair the roof of his house. He made contact with a sheet awning that was making contact with some high-tension cables and died almost instantly. That season (2002) the Red Devils beat the Tigers in the final series and the title was dedicated in honor of Admiral Nelson Barrera.

El Zacatal Bridge

The bridge called El Zacatal is located in the southwestern part of Ciudad del Carmen, in the Mexican state of Campeche and connects the Atasta peninsula with Isla del Carmen, at "km 165,000" of the Villahermosa-Ciudad del Carmen highway crossing the Laguna de Términos. It was completed on November 24, 1994 and inaugurated by President Carlos Salinas de Gortari.Con a length of 3,861 m and a width of 9.00 m is the longest in Mexico and is passable in two lanes by all kinds of vehicles, being used by Federal Highway 180. It is one of the busiest in the country as it is the entrance to the Yucatan Peninsula.  The bridge was built at the point previously called Punta Zacatal, a small cape on the continental coast that makes up the Laguna de Términos.

Convention Center

It has a large room with capacity for 1,300 people that can be divided into 4 rooms that would have a capacity ranging from 100 to 500 people. There are also 4 executive lounges with a capacity of 10 to 80 people. The space for exhibitions is 1,980 m2 and the space for conventions is 2,180 m2.

Historic center

The center of Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, is full of buildings that tell the story of this island, inhabited by Mayan settlers, invaded by English pirates and epicenter of the oil industry in Mexico. Below, we mention some of the old buildings that are worth visiting: House of Culture, Church of Jesus Nazareno, Victoriano Nieves Museum, Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Liceo Carmelita, among others.

Cycling track

You can find it just a few steps from Casa Viento Hotel, it is located on the new coastal boardwalk in Playa Norte, where you can enjoy warm walks and magnificent views of the sea.
